ADRC committee accepts donations, appoints citizen member and approves LTE dining-site position

The Oneida County Aging and Disability Resource Center Committee on June 22 unanimously approved resolutions accepting donations totaling $7,500 for senior meal programs, appointed Maureen “Mo” Rodziczak to fill a citizen committee seat and approved a limited-term Dining Site Manager position for the Lake Tomahawk location.
Ms. Mya Olkowski reported that Lynda Lukowski has donated $5,000 “to be used towards meal costs for the Senior Nutrition Program,” and that IncredibleBank Foundation Minocqua donated $2,500 for the Woodruff dining site. Both donations were presented as resolutions and approved by voice vote. Ms. Rita Mahner moved to accept the Lukowski donation, seconded by Mr. James Unger; Ms. Melanie Fralick moved to accept the IncredibleBank Foundation donation, seconded by Mr. James Unger. Both motions carried with all ayes.
In a separate item, the committee considered five applicants for the citizen committee member seat vacated by Ms. Joan Hauer when her term ends June 30, 2026. After brief introductions from applicants, the committee voted unanimously to appoint Maureen “Mo” Rodziczak to the seat.
The committee also approved a 2027 LTE (limited-term employee) Staffing Request to create a Dining Site Manager position at the Lake Tomahawk site. Ms. Olkowski described the opening as an LTE position that would work Mondays and Wednesdays, receive pay but not benefits. Mr. James Unger moved to approve the LTE position, and Ms. Joan Hauer seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The resolutions will be signed by committee members after the meeting. The committee did not record dissenting votes during these items.
What happens next: the accepted donations will be processed and the resolutions signed; the appointed citizen member will assume the seat when Ms. Hauer’s term ends June 30, 2026; and the LTE position will be posted as specified in the staffing request.
