Milaca council approves $520,306 in contractor pay requests for 2024 projects

The Milaca City Council on Sept. 19 approved three contractor pay requests totaling $520,306.18 for ongoing 2024 public-works projects.
The council voted unanimously to approve Pay Request #2 to OMG Midwest, dba Minnesota Paving & Materials, for $190,253.65 for the 2024 Street Improvements Project; Pay Request #3 to Northern Lines Contracting for $312,465.69 for the 110th Avenue Improvements Project; and Pay Request #3 Final to ACM, LLC for $17,586.84 for the Liquor Store Access Road Project. Norris Johnson moved to approve the first request; Lindsee Larsen seconded. Ken Muller moved the 110th Avenue approval; Larsen seconded that motion. All motions passed with all officials voting in favor.
City Manager Tammy Pfaff told the council the city is submitting expenditures to date for the 110th Avenue project under a HUD program. The council made no additional funding commitments at the meeting.
The payments authorize progress and final invoices for projects the city has been managing this construction season. The meeting record shows routine procedural motions and no recorded dissent. The council adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
