East Whiteland board approves multiple ordinances, resolutions and contracts in unanimous votes

The East Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors approved a package of ordinances, resolutions and contracts during its June 11 meeting, with all motions passing unanimously.
Key actions included approval of Resolution No. 22-2025 regarding the Valley Forge Sewer Authority’s Act 537 Plan (the plan addresses WWTP capacity transfers and sewer conveyance upgrades). The board also approved three ordinances following public hearings: Hotels, Motels and Inns (Ordinance No. 372-2025); Workforce Housing (Ordinance No. 373-2025); and adoption of the 2021 International Fire Code (Ordinance No. 374-2025). For the record, Mr. Lambert stated his full support for these ordinances.
The board awarded the 2025 Paving Project (re-bid) to Heidelburg Materials Northeast LLC for $559,156.69 and approved a motion to advertise Ordinance No. 375 (adoption of the 2021 Uniform Construction Code) for the Aug. 13, 2025 meeting.
The consent agenda included approval of the May 14 meeting minutes; ratified payment of bills totaling $1,959,384.41; treasurer’s report; ratification of a Scantek proposal for $7,350; purchase of 1,400 cubic yards of amended soil from Britton Industries for $46,130 (CoStars); approval of an RGA Historic Resource Impact Study for 1469 Morstein Road for $13,490; and authorization of a Comcast franchise renewal proposal (not to exceed $10,000).
Most motions were made by Vice-Chair Rich Orlow and seconded by Member Peter Fixler; recorded votes were unanimous.
