Long Prairie sets March 11 public hearing for CDBG Small Cities application

The Long Prairie City Council unanimously voted Feb. 11 to call a public hearing on March 11 at 7:00 p.m. to consider a proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities application. Mayor James Kreemer moved the call for the hearing; Council Member Lilah Gripne seconded the motion.
City Administrator Candace Bruder told the council a DEED representative will attend the March 11 meeting to explain the resolutions that will be needed to complete the application packet for the March 25 application deadline.
The hearing was scheduled to allow the city to meet state deadlines; no further action on the application was taken at the Feb. 11 meeting.
