Councilmembers unanimously approved amended minutes and a motion to pay presented claims totaling $4,222.25. Mayor Mitch Swart reviewed the quarterly Raymond Ambulance invoice and noted the city donated $5,000 in 2024 and budgeted $7,142.86 for 2025 to contribute toward future ambulance replacement; the invoice will be paid quarterly.
City Administrator/Clerk Sarah Van Dyken was assigned to obtain and email a mosquito‑spraying quote for 2025. Councilmember Mike Bredeck moved and the council approved proceeding with vegetation spraying on Railroad Avenue for 2025. The council also directed staff to inspect Sunset Drive for street crack repair needs and asked all council members to review neighborhood streets and report back in March.
Mayor Mitch Swart raised hail‑damage follow‑up from last summer and asked contractors to provide additional quotes. The council approved a motion to obtain multiple door replacement estimates for the city shop, naming Xcel Door and County Line as vendors to consider. Councilmember Mike Bredeck moved to adjourn at the meeting’s close; the motion passed unanimously.
