- Engineering services: Council selected Chagrin Valley Engineering for engineering design services on State Route 3 North resurfacing; motion approved.
- Pay-code amendments: Service department and public-building pay-code changes (to align with the Teamsters contract and to staff custodial coverage) were approved.
- Police equipment and water-rate withdrawal: The committee approved an increased purchase order to outfit a police vehicle. A proposed water-rate review item was withdrawn after staff confirmed no Avon rate increase for 2027.
- Tax budget and ballot language: The committee approved the 2027 tax budget and directed the law director to draft ballot language to add sidewalks to the 108-account uses for November.
