The Taylor Town Council on Jan. 2 authorized staff to publish a 60-day public notice of proposed increases to several municipal fees, including facility rental charges, building permit fees and ambulance fees.
Manager Gus Lundberg said the town must publish notice of the changes and asked the council to authorize posting. "We just need to agree to put out a notice as of March 6th," Lundberg said. Councilmember Jason Brubaker moved to publish the notice with an effective date of March 6; Councilmember Lynn Dewitt seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
The meeting minutes do not list the proposed new fee amounts. Council action at the Jan. 2 meeting authorized only the notice to the public; any final fee schedule would require further council action after the notice period and any public input.
