Crawfordsville board approves drainage contract, farmer's market manager and street closures

The board also approved a 2026 Farmer’s Market management agreement with Kristen Collins at $18 per hour, not to exceed $6,000 annually. Fawn Johnson, Parks & Recreation, requested recurring road closures to support the market; members approved closing Pike Street at Pike Place on Saturdays from May 2 through Sept. 26, 2026, between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. to host the market. Erin Corbin moved to approve the closures and Albrecht seconded.
