City Engineer Sarff told the council the project’s total estimated cost is $2,477,000 and that the city received a BDPI grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) that will cover $1.1 million of construction costs. Council Member Whitlock moved to adopt Res. No. 14-25 approving plans and ordering the advertisement for bids; Council Member Peterson seconded and the motion carried with Council Members Peterson, Oachs, Whitlock and Mayor Carlson voting aye.
