Taylor — The Taylor Town Council on Jan. 8 formally called the July 28, 2026 primary election for four four‑year council seats and approved the Navajo County Elections Office to administer the election.
Town Manager Gus Lundberg said the election date is pending state-legislative confirmation. Seats up for election are those held by Jason Brubaker, Bill Baldwin, Sherry Cosper Duke and Lynn Dewitt. Candidate packets will be available at the end of February, and the filing deadline is at the end of March.
April Williams moved to approve the call and to authorize the Navajo County Elections Office to administer the election; Jason Brubaker seconded the motion and the council voted unanimously.
