The Darlington Town Council approved routine items April 2, voting unanimously on minutes, financial reports and an event permit.
Vice President Teresa Sutherlin moved to approve the March 5, 2026 meeting minutes; Jeremy Weliever seconded and the motion carried 5–0. Council then approved the payroll docket, accounts receivable and appropriations report for March 2026 on a motion from Marilyn Cohee, seconded by Vice President Teresa Sutherlin; vote 5–0. The council also approved the Darlington American Legion’s 2026 Event Permit on a motion from Marilyn Cohee, seconded by Vice President Teresa Sutherlin; vote 5–0.
Clerk‑Treasurer Michelle Cash noted that reports had been emailed to council members prior to the meeting for review. The minutes record no public comment and the town attorney was not present.
