Lenox council approves routine business, urban renewal report and hires neighborhood center employee

The Lenox City Council completed routine business on Oct. 28, approving a special-event permit for the Lenox Chamber's Halloween Trunk or Treat after a motion by Councilor Tull, seconded by Councilor Cruz.
City Administrator Allison Kitzman briefed the council on a minor change to an ITC easement near the tennis court; council members indicated they were comfortable with the modification. The council also approved the city's annual urban renewal report, which Kitzman said covers urban renewal areas Dalton Ag, PPI and the old trailer park and details TIF revenues, rebate amounts and internal loan payments.
On personnel business the council approved hiring Jannica Bradley to the Lenox Neighborhood Center following a motion by Tull, seconded by Cruz, and adopted Resolution 24-45 setting Bradley's wage at $12.00 per hour on a motion by Hodges, seconded by Tull. The meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
