The Ruthton City Council handled routine business April 6, approving the March meeting and public hearing minutes, authorizing purchase of a new furnace for the city shop, approving the monthly bills and adjourning the meeting.
Councilmember Darwin Sietsema moved and Councilmember Chris McCurdy seconded approval of the March minutes and public hearing minutes; the motion carried unanimously. Councilmember Stu Peterson moved and Darwin Sietsema seconded approval to buy a replacement furnace for the city shop from Dean Brandt Heating and Air Conditioning; that motion carried unanimously.
Councilmember Brian Baartman moved and Darwin Sietsema seconded approval of the March bills; receipts were $20,483.70 and disbursements were $31,422.26. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. on a motion by Stu Peterson; no additional votes or times for future meetings were announced.
These items were recorded as routine, unanimous approvals with no amendments or conditions discussed during the meeting.
