Treasurer Judy Graham reported receipts as of Aug. 15 totaled $4,449.65 and expenses $26,972.70; estimated August receipts and expenses are $10,600 and $52,000 respectively. Graham said the 2025 preliminary budget is already over in dollars and that salary increases and recurring percentage increases for businesses have been included; she told the council the preliminary budget must be finalized before the end of September. Council members noted capital items under consideration for 2025, including a Ford F‑450, a maintenance shed and chip sealing.
