Crawfordsville airport board unanimously approves pay requests, small fund transfer and claims docket

The Crawfordsville Board of Aviation Commissioners unanimously approved two grant-funded pay requests, a small intra-airport fund transfer and the claims docket at its March 18, 2026 meeting.

President Dreyer presented Pay Request 5 for AIP-26 (Wildlife Fencing) in the amount of $12,569.69. Airport Manager Lori Curless told the board the project is funded 97.5% by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Indiana Department of Transportation, with a 2.5% local match required. Commissioner Stath moved to approve; Commissioner Davis seconded. The motion carried by voice vote.

Pay Request 3 for AIP-27 (Snow Removal Equipment Building — design), for $2,482.47, was presented next. Ms. Curless again noted the 97.5% FAA/INDOT funding and 2.5% local match. Commissioner Allen moved to approve; Commissioner Davis seconded. The motion carried.

The board also approved Resolution 03-2026, authorizing a transfer from fund 2521 (aircraft rental) to funds 2510 (fuel/oil) and 2523 (aircraft maintenance) to cover a final invoice of $298.39 for maintenance labor and parts related to previously leased rental aircraft. Ms. Curless described the charge as the final invoice arising from the airport’s prior management of the flight school. Commissioner Stath moved to approve the resolution; Commissioner Allen seconded. The motion carried.

President Dreyer presented a claims docket totaling $11,031.56. Commissioner Stath moved to approve the docket; Commissioner Davis seconded. The motion carried.

All recorded motions in the minutes carried with “all ayes.” Commissioner Allen joined the meeting at 4:05 p.m.; the minutes record who moved and seconded each motion as noted above. No dissenting votes or abstentions are recorded in the meeting minutes.
