Wyoming State Bar board approves routine administrative actions, updates travel policy

At its Nov. 7 meeting the Wyoming State Bar Board approved routine administrative business including the Treasurer’s Report, the consent agenda (with an added item on fee deferrals), and updates to the Board’s travel reimbursement policy.
Treasurer Kelly M. Neville reported preliminary net income of approximately $171,000 for the prior fiscal year (subject to audit). President-Elect Alison O. Gee moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report; Vice President Jennifer L. Kirk seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The consent agenda — including Executive Director Wilkinson’s request to add the possible deferral matter — was approved on a motion by Vice President Kirk and second by Treasurer Neville.
On travel, the Board voted unanimously to update its policy so the Bar will reimburse up to six Board members to attend the Western States Bar Conference during Hawaii-hosted years, covering airfare, meals, lodging and registration, with preference for the Executive Committee. Executive Director Wilkinson was directed to update the written policy and seek Executive Committee approval.
The Board also filled committee liaison roles and heard routine reports on CLEs, local bar activity and committee work, and adjourned at 5:02 p.m.
