Wyoming State Bar board raises 2026 registration revenue estimate and ratifies adjusted budget

Executive Director Sharon Wilkinson told the Board that the current draft of the proposed 2026 budget initially projected $160,000 in Annual Meeting registration revenue and that a prior draft had the Bar at $174,065 after August. She reported that, as of the morning of the Sept. 19 meeting, the Bar had generated $231,700 in registration revenue year-to-date and recommended increasing the 2026 registration revenue estimate.
Commissioner Clayton M. Melinkovich moved to increase the 2026 Annual Meeting registration revenue projection to $190,000 and to approve the adjusted proposed budget. Commissioner Jennifer L. Kirk seconded the motion and the Board approved it unanimously. The minutes record the adjusted estimate and the unanimous ratification of the proposed budget.
