The Dubois County Council unanimously elected Michael W. Kluesner as council president and Ryan Craig as vice-president during its Jan. 21, 2025, meeting in the Commissioner/Council Chambers at the Dubois County Annex. Auditor Sandra L. Morton opened nominations; Sonya Haas nominated Kluesner for president and Doug Uebelhor nominated Craig for vice-president. Motions to close nominations and elect the officers were approved without opposition.
The council approved minutes from its Dec. 30, 2024 meeting on a motion from Ryan Craig, seconded by Doug Uebelhor. With no further business, Doug Uebelhor moved to adjourn; Alex Hohl seconded, and the meeting concluded at 5:46 p.m.
The members listed as present were President Michael W. Kluesner, Sonya Haas, Alex P. Hohl, Doug Uebelhor, Ryan Craig, Meredith I. Voegerl and Deena J. Lewis; Auditor Sandra L. Morton was also present. No contested ballots or roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript.
