The Logan City Council adopted Resolution 26-6, the city’s annual budget for fiscal year 2026–2027, during its April 20 meeting. Mayor Clint McDonald presided; the motion to adopt was made by Council Member DeWitt and seconded by Council Member Moss and carried with three ayes.
The council opened a public hearing on the proposed FY 2026–2027 budget and received no public comments before voting to close the hearing. The council also set May 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. to accept public comment on proposed amendments to the FY 2025–2026 budget.
The budget adoption was recorded as Resolution 26-6. No members of the public addressed the council on the budget at the hearing. Clerk Winther will proceed with any required follow-up filings associated with the adopted budget and the scheduled May 4 hearing.
The meeting record shows routine procedural votes on the agenda and consent items leading up to the budget vote; those motions were recorded as carried by 3 ayes each. The council adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
