The Lenox City Council handled routine business at its Aug. 26 meeting, approving the agenda, the Aug. 12 meeting minutes, and payment of the city’s bills. All three motions passed unanimously among the four councilmembers present.
Councilmember Tull moved to approve the Aug. 12 minutes and to approve payment of the bills; Peterson and Cruz seconded those motions as recorded in the minutes. The council also approved a special event permit application for Lenox United Presbyterian Church after a motion by Tull and a second by Peterson; that vote was unanimous.
Councilmember Peterson moved to adjourn the meeting; Tull seconded and the meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m. The minutes list City Clerk Dawne Bowman and visitor Colleen Larimer as present, and note Councilmember Nelson was absent.
