The Saint Peter Public Schools Board approved its consent agenda June 10, clearing $4,411,320.37 in bills and wire transfers for May 2026 and several personnel changes, and separately adopted a resolution accepting donations from local organizations and individuals.
On a motion by Ken Rossow, seconded by Kate Martens, the board approved the consent agenda, which included approval of the May 20, 2026 regular meeting minutes; payments totaling $4,411,320.37; hires (Amory Afedi, Melic Thomas, Andrew Sorbo, Grace Remmert, Kiya Sohn, Aaliyah Fleischer and Roxana Kennedy); resignations (Melic Thomas, Piper McCargar, Kaia Meyer, Isaac Alger, Theresa Lekander and Anna Leafblad); the retirement of Kathy Wobbrock; and transfers for Nathan Hughes and Amanda (Mandy) Kennedy. The motion carried unanimously.
Separately, the board adopted a resolution accepting donations from the Booster Club, Red Men Club, Pioneer Bank, Jeremy Hatlevig, Sota Scoops, the Thalia Lopez & Larry Taylor Educational Scholarship Trust and the American Red Cross. The donations resolution passed on a roll call vote of 7–0 after a motion by Bill Kautt, seconded by Kate Martens.
The personnel approvals include both new hires and departures; specifics about individual employment terms were not included in the minutes. Tenure approvals and other personnel contract actions were considered elsewhere on the agenda.
