Onamia organizers set Nov. 12 Harvest Dinner, schedule Dec. 6 Santa visit and cancel Light Up Onamia

The minutes record Margaret Hintzmann asking whether the group would serve on Nov. 12.
Organizers scheduled a Santa visit and Cookies & Crafts at Cedarwood for Dec. 6 and flagged the need to send a flyer to the Mille Lacs Messenger; they also discussed whether to hold a craft sale alongside the event. The minutes note that the group will contact the school and the Mille Lacs Messenger to inform them that the group will no longer pursue an unspecified effort previously considered, citing affordability concerns.
The minutes record that Marge submitted an ECRAC grant application for 2025, indicating the group is pursuing external funding for programming or events. Members reviewed Funtober, held Oct. 12, and described a strong turnout while soliciting ideas for next year.
The group recorded a decision not to hold Light Up Onamia this year. Members also planned a Cedarwood members' dinner for Monday, Jan. 12, with a proposed menu (steak tips, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, roll, salad or slaw, and a brownie or apple crisp) to be finalized.
