The board — meeting in the Park Rapids School Board Room and called to order by Chairperson Safratowich — approved the consent items on a motion recorded as Morgan/Kocka. The consent agenda included approval of the Oct. 20 regular meeting minutes; the resignation of Sarah Young, head cook at Century School; and several hires and volunteer appointments: Kaden Crabb, head esports coach; Jack Moses, esports volunteer coach; Mike Baso, assistant baseball coach (addendum); Brett Bishop, junior high wrestling coach (addendum); and Greg Bishop, wrestling volunteer coach.
Under New Business the board accepted the retirement of Jodie Johnson “with regret,” thanking her for nine years of service to the Park Rapids School District. That action is recorded in the minutes as moved by Diekmann and seconded by Morgan and was approved by the board.
The meeting record lists principals Jeff Johnson and Mike LeMeir, Business Manager Kent Fritze and Superintendent Lance Bagstad as present for the working session. The board adjourned the meeting at 7:40 a.m.
