West Branch to provide $10,000 support for Hoover's Hometown Days, split between Main Street and fire department

Councilmember Colton Miller said the volunteer fire department also makes major contributions and should receive the same amount; Miller asked that the City Administrator include the contribution as a budgeted expense in future work sessions. The clerk was directed to revise the proposed resolution to donate $5,000 to each organization. The council approved Resolution 2025-57 on a motion by Colton Miller, seconded by Tom Dean; the vote was unanimous.
