At the May 10 council meeting, Mayor Jenn Domzalski asked council to add an MOU between the Village of Northfield and the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (OPBA) concerning lateral hires to the agenda. Councilmember Gary Vojtush moved to add the item; the motion passed on a roll-call vote.
Following that addition, Vojtush moved and Kevin Lewis seconded a motion authorizing the mayor to execute the MOU. The motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote of councilmembers recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not include the MOU text or details of its provisions beyond indicating the subject relates to lateral hires.
The council did not record further discussion of the MOU at the meeting.
