Northfield council adopts resolution promoting Warren Olesinski to police lieutenant

Councilmember Gary Vojtush moved to suspend the three-reading rule; Alan Hipps seconded the motion and the council approved it by roll call. Vojtush then moved to adopt the resolution, seconded by Jesse Ferko; roll-call votes recorded unanimous affirmative votes and the legislation was approved.
Police Chief Brian Zajac had noted earlier in the meeting that a promotion ceremony for Olesinski is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. the following day in Council Chambers. The council took no additional personnel action at the meeting.
