Pennock council approves two one-day liquor licenses for Fun Days

Mayor Kevin Crowley called the Pennock City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and, during the public-comment period, resident Nancy Stredde requested two one-day liquor licenses for Pennock Fun Days. Council member Kerry Gross moved to approve two one-day licenses for Aug. 2 (5:15–9:00 p.m.) and Aug. 3 (5:00–11:59 p.m.); Council member Jeff Arends seconded and the motion passed.
The licenses will allow alcohol service during the specified hours at the event. Also during public comment, resident Jenni Thorpe asked to operate the Spooky Dungeon again this year; Mayor Crowley said he had no objections and told organizers to plan on holding it.
The approvals were recorded as routine business in the meeting minutes; the council did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript. The council adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
