New Market council approves water-project pay apps, USPS lease and 2025 wages

Under New Business the council approved Resolution 2025-01 to pay Crain Construction $56,238.15 for Water Project Division 1 Pay Application #7. The motion was moved by Justin Savage and seconded by Mike DeVoe; the meeting record states all members voted in favor and the motion carried.
The council also approved Resolution 2025-02 to pay 3D Construction $70,820.60 for Water Project Division 2 Pay Application #3. That motion was moved by Larry McAlpin and seconded by Mike DeVoe and was recorded as carried unanimously.
Council members voted to authorize signing a new lease with the U.S. Postal Service after a motion from Gene Chapman, seconded by Mike DeVoe. The transcript records unanimous approval.
The council approved Resolution 2025-03 to authorize fund transfers (moved by Larry McAlpin and seconded by Gene Chapman) and Resolution 2025-04 to set employee wages for 2025 (moved by Justin Savage and seconded by Gene Chapman).
