The City of New Market City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda at the July 18, 2024 regular meeting. The consent package included the meeting agenda, minutes from the June council meeting and a July 10 special meeting, claims for the city and several departments, financial reports (treasurer's spreadsheet, income and expense, balance sheet), and account reconciliations (General Checking, Fire Department, ARP, Petty Cash, Utility). The motion was moved by Gene Chapman and seconded by Justin Savage; the minutes record that all members voted in favor.
During the same session the council adopted two housekeeping finance resolutions: Resolution 2024-32 to enact FY24 fund transfers and Resolution 2024-33 to enact FY25 fund transfers.
