Committee members pressed for clarity on how goals would incorporate community engagement, how data would be made available to parents, and how staff training outcomes (including MTSS and UDL practices) and incoming 8th-grade math measures would be tracked. Members also asked whether Crozier’s newly appointed national leadership role would be reflected in Professional Practice indicators.
After discussing recommended edits and clarifications, Chair Karyn Jones moved to approve the goals as amended; Mandy Sim seconded. The motion passed on a 5-0 roll-call vote.
The approved goals will guide district improvement work and staff evaluation evidence for the coming year. The committee noted they expect periodic reporting on the indicators of success included in the packet.
