During its April 14 meeting the Sudbury School Committee approved multiple future-agenda items and considered reorganizing a subcommittee.
Vice Chair Meredith Gerson moved to add a policy on the authorized use of the Sudbury Public Schools logo to a future agenda; Nicole Burnard seconded and the motion passed 3-1. Karyn Jones later moved to reorganize the Negotiations Subcommittee because a member is rolling off; Jessica McCready seconded but the motion resulted in a 2-2 tie and did not pass.
The committee unanimously approved adding a discussion about School Committee participation in Pride Day on June 8, 2025 (motion by Jessica McCready, seconded by Karyn Jones; vote 4-0). The committee also voted 4-0 to add discussion of members participating remotely in both regular and executive session meetings (motion by Karyn Jones, seconded by Jessica McCready).
These decisions set items for upcoming agendas; no substantive policy changes were adopted at the meeting itself.
