Rock Creek council sets May 1 follow-up for junkyard cleanup; directs landscaping business to apply for permit

During the March 5 meeting the council reviewed code-enforcement updates including a junkyard property owned by Jeremy Nordrum and other compliance matters. Council members noted significant progress toward cleanup on Mr. Nordrum's property but set a new follow-up deadline of May 1, 2026 and asked staff to send a letter acknowledging progress and the new deadline.
The council also noted continued fines for Mark Revering for a junkyard and non-compliant septic system due to minimal communication. Donna Peltier's non-compliant septic system has not been addressed since November 2024 and fines will continue to accrue. Kevin McCall, co-owner of M&M Landscaping, spoke to the council and the council directed him to apply for a Low Impact Business Permit to come into compliance.
