Bellechester council approves $14,512 reimbursement to engineer for sewer lateral work

Council members discussed final, minor work on manhole covers and detailed a plan of individual lateral service repairs for affected properties. Bolton & Menk performed and coordinated additional lateral repair work while the CIPP project was under way and absorbed those costs during construction. Rural Development reviewed those expenses and approved them, the council was told.
Nick Keller moved and Jacob Gilsdorf seconded a motion to reimburse Bolton & Menk $14,512 for Engineering Amendment No. 1, which documents the lateral-service repair plan and related work. The motion carried.
The council did not attach further conditions to the reimbursement in the meeting minutes. The council’s action closes a remaining administrative step tied to the CIPP project’s closeout.
