The Rock Creek City Council voted unanimously Feb. 26 to hold recurring meetings every Thursday at 5:00 p.m., excluding dates that coincide with regularly scheduled City Council meetings.
Council Member Don Ramberg moved the scheduling measure, and Council Member Sam Christenson seconded the motion. The minutes state the motion "carried with all ayes." Five members were listed as present: Mayor Dick Johnson and council members Nancy Rys, Don Ramberg, Dan Saumer and Sam Christenson.
The minutes do not record any discussion of the rationale for the recurring meetings or list any conditions or end date beyond "until further notice." The motion was recorded in the approved minutes of the special meeting and took effect as an administrative scheduling decision by the council.
The council adjourned the special meeting at 4:50 p.m.; the recurring schedule was recorded in the minutes as an outcome of this session.
