Bellechester council approves $97,656.91 payment for sewer lining project as work wraps up

He told the council the vendor will return in May to fix yard cleanouts and remove flags and stakes from properties.
The council was told the project is winding down and is anticipated to be completed in June; an amendment request related to the contract will appear on a future agenda. The meeting minutes do not list the dollar amount of any pending amendment or a roll-call vote for the payment motion.
The payment approval follows prior progress payments and reimbursements. Clerk Lisa Redepenning later reported that Rural Development has reimbursed the city for lining-project expenses, and the sewer fund balance stands at $118,139.67.
