Robert Smith (Angle Road) told the board that air pollution from granary operations is as important to the community as food‑processing residuals are to groundwater and that roundabouts are an effective way to manage traffic flow. Diane Smith (Angle Road) said she drove to the Myers operation while it was operating and "witnessed firsthand how bad the air quality was," and she encouraged supervisors to view the operation when it is running at full capacity.
