The Board of Education of the Riceville Community School District amended its March 31, 2025, agenda to add the resignation of an employee and then voted to accept the resignation of Morgan Nosbisch as FFA teacher. Eastman moved to amend the agenda and McCarthy seconded; the motion passed with five ayes.
A separate motion to approve the resignation was made by Guertin and seconded by Hale. The minutes record a roll-call vote with Eastman, McCarthy, Hale, Guertin and Fox recorded as voting aye; the motion carried. The transcript also notes that no one was present to speak at the public hearing on the agenda item.
Board President Karl Fox called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; Superintendent Barb Schwamman and Board Secretary/Treasurer Jennifer Dunn were listed as present. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
