Caledonia council appoints SEH as civil engineer; residents schedule Founder’s Day street-closure meeting

At its April 14 meeting the Caledonia City Council unanimously appointed SEH to serve as the city’s civil engineer.
Member Bob Klug moved to appoint SEH and Member John Rauk seconded; the motion passed on a unanimous vote.
Earlier in the meeting residents Tracey Knutson, Bryan Spier and Suzanne Howard discussed options for street closures during Founder’s Day and the council scheduled a follow-up meeting at 9 a.m. on April 15 to finalize plans. The council also approved a liquor license for Founder’s Day as part of the consent agenda.
The council reviewed overtime reports for the March 17–30 pay period and took no action. Mayor Jeremy Leis announced the next regular meeting for April 28 and adjourned the meeting at 6:32 p.m.
