Staff recommended leaving a bottom line of $36,782 and transferring $390,000 from the General Fund to Fund 352. Member Amanda Ninneman moved the transfer; Member John Rauk seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously in favor. Two council members were absent for the vote.
The transfer is intended to park surplus funds for future capital needs; staff did not specify an exact project assignment during the meeting. The council reviewed but took no additional budget votes at the session.
The council’s next regular meeting is scheduled for March 10, when staff said they will continue work on the City’s capital planning and financial monitoring.
