The Red Oak City Council voted unanimously on Aug. 5, 2024, to approve a $100,000 Community Catalyst Building Remediation Grant Agreement between the City of Red Oak, the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Downtown Resource Center to support a three-story adaptive reuse project with Fountain Square LLC.
Councilperson Brian Bills moved to approve the grant agreement and Councilperson Sharon Bradley seconded the motion. The roll-call vote recorded Councilpersons Bills, Fridolph, Haidsiak (via phone), Hietbrink and Bradley as voting aye and no nays were recorded.
