Secretary/Treasurer Julie Levorsen reported a checking account balance of $4,916.24, listed two bills — U.S. Postal Service box rent for $78.00 and GS Publishing LLC for $43.26 for the Sept. 9 meeting notice — and said a state bonding application is pending.
Jenna Kilzer moved to approve the treasurer's report; Brian Richardson seconded and the motion carried. Tara Gaugler then moved to pay the listed bills; Jenna Kilzer seconded and the motion carried, authorizing the payments noted in the treasurer's report.
During public comment, Sen. Donald Schaible shared information he had received regarding the mill levy and annexation. Board members discussed the mill levy and annexation procedure following Schaible's remarks; the minutes record discussion but show no motion or formal decision on either topic at this meeting.
The board set its annual meeting for March 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. MDT at the New Leipzig Ambulance meeting room, 18 First St. SE, New Leipzig, N.D. Brian Richardson moved to adjourn; Dennis Rivinius seconded and the motion carried. President Payne declared the meeting adjourned.
