The session opened at 4:58 p.m. with Commissioner Nicole Wood calling the meeting to order and Sandy Bonkoski seconding. The commission recorded Sandy Bonkoski as chairperson, Nicole Wood and Kimberly Cardona as commissioners, and Reghan Phillips as secretary to the commission.
Sandy Bonkoski moved to approve the minutes from the May 28, 2026 meeting; Kimberly Cardona seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The commission then considered a competitive position title. Commissioner Kimberly Cardona moved for pending approval of the competitive position "Assistant Director of Facilities," and Commissioner Nicole Wood seconded. The minutes note, "Per State Civil Service — this title is appropriate for the Building and Grounds Maintenance exam, which is generally held on an annual basis." The motion passed unanimously.
Commissioner Kimberly Cardona moved to adjourn, seconded by Sandy Bonkoski; the meeting adjourned at 5:18 p.m. The commission scheduled its next monthly meeting for July 20, 2026 at 4:30 p.m., pending quorum calls.
