McDall co-ed cheer team honored after sixth PIAA state title

Coach Pbanic thanked the board for support and introduced coaches Michelle Black and Karen Kusnney and the student roster. The presentation highlighted that 60 percent of this year's team had never competed at the state level before, and that the squad moved from third place on day one to capture the title.
Several student-athletes spoke at the podium to thank coaches, teammates and the wider community. Dr. Kavanagh also praised the team's resilience and congratulated the athletes on behalf of the district.
No action was required; the board offered formal recognition and congratulations.
