Bethel Park board approves listing agreement to sell four district properties

The Bethel Park School District board approved a listing agreement with Fourth River Development LLC to list and market four district properties effective July 1.
At the facilities report, Mr. Modrak moved the two facilities items and said the listing will place the Bethel Park School District administration building (301 Church Road), Abraham Lincoln Elementary School (1524 Hamilton Road), Bethel Memorial Elementary School (3301 South Park Road) and William Penn Elementary School (110 Woodlet Lane) on the MLS through the agent. "All of the unused furniture and whatnot in the buildings will be sold," the administration said, describing a public process including direct buy and auction opportunities.
Dr. Kusensky provided additional detail on how the MLS listings and disposition process will be coordinated with the district's office and the chosen listing agent.
The board moved and seconded the items and approved them by a 9-0 vote.
What happens next: the listing agent will begin marketing the properties on July 1 and the district will publish details about disposition opportunities for community members.
