Blackledge distributed a maintenance spreadsheet and showed photos of new shop storage racks. He reported downtown street lights are sensor-controlled and operating correctly, and that lagoon discharge is complete. Blackledge said he will seek quotes for street striping and discussed potential work to revamp the ballfield warning track.
On water services, staff reported that water meter software has been installed and that Ross will receive training to install radio-read meters, with older meters prioritized for replacement. On water quality, Blackledge presented raw radium test results and the board reached consensus to test radium levels annually going forward. The board also discussed the unwritten snow removal practice of blading streets after three inches of accumulation and left adjustments to the chair until any formal policy change is proposed.
Next steps include staff obtaining striping quotes, training for radio-read meter installation, and annual scheduling for radium testing.
