Cul‑de‑sac requirement and developer notice: Brian Scheele of Olsson & Associates submitted a plan for the Linda’s Retirement preliminary plat. The board determined that constructing a cul‑de‑sac as proposed would increase costs by about $25,000 compared with the preliminary plat and voted to require a turnaround at the end of 6th Street with a 35‑foot radius to meet subdivision regulations; the clerk was directed to notify the developers and provide the engineer’s drawings (motion by Fangmeier, seconded by Rosekrans).
Surplus hay resolution: The board adopted Resolution No. 24‑12‑1 declaring 12 large round brome hay bales surplus property and authorizing their sale by sealed bid at the regular meeting on Jan. 6, 2025. The resolution states the total fair market value of the hay is less than $65, reserves the right to reject bids, and requires posting notice in three locations and the Lincoln Journal Star for at least seven days prior to sale.
Claims approved: The board approved Claims List A for $26,295.46 and Claims List B for $6,013.76; the minutes also report Keno Checking $70,938 and November payroll of $8,841.34 (motion by Rosekrans, seconded by Fangmeier). The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
