The Village of Denton Board of Trustees approved a one-year Restated Keno Agreement 2025 at its Jan. 6 meeting and authorized Trustee Joe Hobelman to sign the contract on the village’s behalf.
The village attorney, Maureen Freeman-Cady, recommended limiting the contract term to one year; trustees carried the motion (moved by Amanda Fangmeier, seconded by Osborn). Earlier in the meeting the clerk reported November Keno figures: gross proceeds $628,912.72, village share $44,195.14, operator share $60,899.72, payout rate 83.28% and unclaimed wins $171.25.
The restated agreement will remain in effect through the one-year term specified in the contract; the minutes record that the current contract term ends in July 2025. The board did not record further negotiation details in the minutes.
