The Village of Denton Board of Trustees approved a contract with Miller Associates for engineering services tied to a Water Improvement Grant Project at its Dec. 2 meeting.
Clerk Charlotte Te Brink said the village sent procurement letters to five engineering firms and published notices in the Lincoln Journal Star; the board reviewed and scored the single proposal the village received. On a motion by Trustee Amanda Fangmeier, seconded by Trustee Doug Rosekrans, the board voted to enter a contract with Miller Associates.
No contract amount was recorded in the minutes. The motion carried and the clerk will proceed with contracting steps consistent with procurement rules.
