The Village of Denton Board of Trustees voted July 8 to approve a slate of claims and move $60,000 from the village’s Keno Fund into the General Fund.
John Juricek moved to approve Claims A totaling $85,668.64, Claims B $5,992.88, June payroll of $9,865.05 and a $60,000 transfer from the Keno Fund; Doug Rosekrans seconded. The action follows the Treasurer’s earlier report showing General Fund cash of $19,675.86 and the Keno report indicating the village’s May share of $11,197.84. Trustees did not amend the motion on the floor; no additional conditions were recorded.
The board opened the meeting at 6:31 p.m. and approved the June 3, 2024 minutes earlier in the session. The meeting was declared adjourned at 7:55 p.m.; the Clerk-Treasurer’s certification of the minutes notes proceedings were "had and done" by 8:00 p.m., a clerical timestamp recorded separately from the adjournment time.
Next steps: the approved claims and the Keno transfer will be reflected in the village’s financial records and bank reconciliations as part of routine accounting procedures.
