Council also directed staff to correct a clerical error on the ordinance’s first page that listed a private residential mailing address and to replace it with the city hall address before publication.
Staff said that once the ordinance is adopted, the city will transmit the change to CenterPoint so the company can implement billing adjustments for affected customers. The council approved the ordinance with the stated page-one correction.
